MPI104 Assignment 1

About my blogs
I have posted a total of 8 posts on Blogspot. My favourite one is the Music blog. There isn't much in there but it can be improved to make playlists and you can have a music blog. I'm also excited that you can embedd flash games like Dirt bike .

I've tried to go for the clean and neat look because it looks more professional. I tried Adsense to check if I get any money out of it but it just destroys the whole blog. So this template includes black backgrounds because black is professional. And a little bit of personal flavour of Orange headlines. The main texts are grey which suits the black background.

I've been amazed checking other classmates blogs. Some of them have very interesting blogs. Like Jordan's and Katrina's

Some tags that I've used are music, laidback luke, turbulence, soccer, messi, barcelona

So I'm trying to bring more media to my blog because I'm not a reading type person. That's why I've embedded games, music, and videos.

I've been trying to add a music player with some of my songs as a playlist but the steps are either complicated or they don't work. But I have managed to embedd a song from another site. There are copyright issues, I know but it's for educational purposes only ;p

Messi 2010 goals and skills

Wanted to share this video to test if it works. This kid is really good btw.

I'm writing this to apologize if I'm going to do everything for this assignment in one day. I was just busy with VFX101 walk cycle animation for the last few days.

Anyway what I wanted to talk about is Soccer and money. It seems that it's all about money these days. The more money a club spends on players the more audience they'll get. Real Madrid for example spent $300 million USD buying players such as Christiano, Kaka and Khedira. This spending has become a tradition for them. But they also make big profits out of this. The more they spend the more earnings they get not only financially but also fans.

I'm a Barca supporter and I love their system of building young talents in their academy. Players who have come out of this academy and done extremely well are Messi, Xavi, Iniesta and even Fabregas. But not even Barca is safe from spending big on players. For example I've noticed that they buy one or two expensive players at the end of every season, which they don't really need. I believe it's because they want to keep the fans happy and excited about new players.

My suggestion is to put more work on youth systems, building talents in their own club. This way the player becomes loyal and doesn't want to move from club to club.

I don't get the point of delicious. Why would u need to save bookmarks in a website? u could just use the options provided by the browser.
